This document is a courtesy of Conservative Synagogue Adath Israel of Riverdale New York. The policy is an example of how to proactively outline a positive and enriching Jewish educational, spiritual, social, and cultural environment for the children who enter a Jewish organization. It details the steps an organization is willing to take to protect children, how an organization will respond to violations of policy and allegations of abuse, and the culture they want to create for the community.
